AmeriLife Awards Lee Jay Hart as 2009 Runner Up for General Manager of the Year

 

AmeriLife, the nation’s largest annuity, life and health organization on the senior market today, has awarded Lee Jay Hart of Polk County, Florida, Runner Up for Manager of the Year.

 

As a former law officer, Lee Jay Hart began to yearn for an opportunity to substantially increase his income and work in a safer environment. Selling financial and health products to seniors certainly seemed to meet those goals. After an interview with AmeriLife in Polk County, Hart decided to switch career tracks and became an agent for the company in May of 2000.

 

As his customer service and product knowledge expanded, the former law officer’s career path quickly took the fast track, and after a series of promotions, Hart became the General Manager of Florida’s Holiday office in 2001. Hart believes in leading by example and mentors his sales team by creating an atmosphere of support and success. By 2004, the Holiday branch won Runner Up Agency of the Year along with Hart being awarded Runner Up Manager of the Year. In 2006, Hart moved back to Polk County and won awards in 2006 and 2009.

 

“If you believe it you can achieve,” says Hart when asked how he motivates his sales agents. “AmeriLife supplies the tools to serve our customers; it’s up to the individual to supply the drive. You get out of the job what you put into it, and above all I always think success.”

 

Hart gives credit to the “Man upstairs”, his wife and his children for his successful career and is inspired by his goals to grow with the company, improve his knowledge of the AmeriLife’s expanding product line while recruiting new agents.
