AmeriLife, the nation’s largest annuity, life and health organization on the senior market today, has presented David Rainwater with the prestigious General Manager of the Year award for 2009. 

 

Rainwater, now President of AmeriLife Career Agency, began his career 23 years ago as an AmeriLife agent in Port Richey, Pasco County Florida. His in-depth product knowledge combined with superior and dedicated customer service quickly catapulted him to Branch Leader and then to General Manager in Florida’s Clearwater office.

 

Two years into his career, Rainwater and his agency staff took the Runner Up for Agency of the Year award. He transferred to the Asheville, N.C. office in November of 1993 where he took over the General Manager’s position. Rainwater, an avid believer of a supportive and creative team environment, led his Asheville office to Agency of the Year three times and has mentored many of his agents to become Branch Leaders and General Managers.

 

 In 2008 Rainwater became Regional Vice President overseeing 8 AmeriLife offices in several states, followed by his promotion to President for the AmeriLife Career Agency. Rainwater brings a vast, diversified knowledge of the entire AmeriLife operation, from selling products to administering corporate policy, along with his well-known motivational skills to the company.
